PERA Informational Sessions
Whether you are new to PERA, getting ready to retire or somewhere in-between, here is your chance to have your questions answered.
A Public Employment Retirement Association (PERA) of Minnesota representative will be making two presentations on Wednesday, March 3, 2018, in the Council Chambers. The first presentation, scheduled from 1-2 p.m., is directed at the Coordinated PERA Plan members, and the 2:30-3:30 p.m. session will focus on Police and Fire PERA.
Wondering which session you should attend? If you are a sworn police officer or if you are a full-time firefighter or fire officer, you should attend the Police and Fire PERA session. All other employees should attend the Coordinated Plan session. This is a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of your PERA benefits.
The sessions will be taped and available on the Employee Web for those unable to attend.
